Omaha Beach Memorial Museum |
I actually never knew why these were all along the beach. They were there to prevent boats from coming onto the beach. When we invaded, it was low tide. I know you all are very smart and already knew this though ;) |

Inside the museum. I have no idea what pictures you want to see. I have over 450 to go through from this day alone. |
American Soldiers' Cemetery in Caen |
Inscription: "Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord." |
Unknown soldier |
The cemetery overlooked the sea. It was a very pretty place! |
"I give unto them eternal life and they shall never perish." |
No picture can truly capture the magnitude of how many crosses there are. |

Don't be fooled - it is NOT light in the bunkers. |
I literally could not see my hand in front of my face. I used the flash as my light to see where I was going. |
View of the area where the bunkers are. It was crazy to see the pockmarks. |
Of course Trevor had to scare me to death by playing around in the dark bunkers. I know it looks light here, but seriously it's only because of my flash. |
